Location of interactive elements

For the benefit of finger travel it makes sense to have as many of the interactive elements on a screen as close as possible to the finger starting point, which is usually near the bottom of the screen. This is why the bottom of the screen is an ideal location to house the back and home buttons (and ideally as many elements as possible).

This is also why there is a rebellion amongst UI designers against the hamburger menu, and a return to bottom-bar based navigation. It avoids hiding content, and avoids the annoying action of having to stretch your finger to the top of the (increasingly bigger) screen every time you want to go somewhere else.

Further investigation must be done to assess which is the most appropriate for the final Hyperloop interface
